Learnerships and skills programmes
Our construction learnerships and skills programmes are accredited by the Construction Education and Training Authority and registered with the South African Qualifications Authority.
They comprise Fundamental, Core and field-specific Elective unit-standard-based training. Between 30% and 70% of this training is theoretical and workplace based.
As your preferred training provider, Tjeka undertakes the following as part of our learnerships and skills programmes:
- Registers the learnership with CETA
- Facilitates training and provides assessment material
- Undertakes formative assessments
- Prepares portfolios for CETA-certification audits
- Obtains certificates from CETA
- Captures competencies on the CETA database
- Maintains on-site training records
- Plans, schedules and manages on-site assessments
- Compiles monthly progress reports and action plans
- Moderates assessment results
