QCTO-accredited apprenticeships and skills programmes
Our Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO)-accredited apprenticeships and skills programmes lead to a national qualification.
This unit-standard-based training consists of between 30% and 70% theory, as well as a minimum of 30% and a maximum of 70% workplace learning. Tjeka’s skilled and experienced site managers/mentors and coaches provide the necessary support for the job-learning component of the learnership.
In addition to provision of learner training and assessment material, Tjeka undertakes the following:
- Registers skills programmes on behalf of clients
- Prepares portfolios for Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA)-certification audits
- Obtains results from CETA and records competencies on its database
- Maintains on-site training records
- Plans, schedules and manages on-site assessments
- Develops individual progress reports and action plans
