SHQ practitioner NQF5
Holders of a NQF5 safety, health and quality practitioner qualification via Tjeka understand the close relationship between safety and quality.
They are acutely aware that sub-standard workmanship is so often the primary cause for many construction safety incidents. It is a dangerous casual relationship. This is considering that even a seemingly insignificant deviation from specifications can prove to be a fatal mistake.
Safety, health and quality practitioners who have been trained by Tjeka know how to instil a culture of safety and quality on worksites. They have learnt how to channel the collective attitudes, beliefs and behaviours of all project stakeholders. Moreover, they excel in fostering a culture of accountability by establishing a zero-tolerance policy towards unsafe practices.
To register for this qualification, candidates must have attained a NQF4 qualification with Mathematical Literacy as a subject.
The qualification may also be obtained in part or whole through recognition-of-prior learning. Candidates will be assessed against the assessment criteria and specific outcomes contained in the relevant unit standards.
